should be stuck inside with a home made salad.

Eating out is fine - its all about making the right choices. In this section we'll take you through all the countries top restaurants and food chains, highlighting what you should avoid and what you should aim for.

Take a burger and fries for example - if you opt for a Bacon and Cheese Double Angus (949kcal), a xl-large fries (461kcal) and a x-large coke (369kcal) from Burger King, you'll have consumed an astonishing 1,779 calories in just one meal! That's virtually an entire days worth of food.

If you were sensible and thought before you bought you could have opted for a Hamburger (270kcal), Small Fries (196kcal) and a diet coke (2kcal) - total of 468 calories - that's over 1,300 less! Of course you could have went even further - McDonalds lets you swap your fries for carrott sticks for example.
