Eating Out On A Diet
Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut are actually very open with what they put on their pizza's and as such their full nutritional guide can be downloaded below.

As with most pizza's - the topping is what counts, although with pizzahut you'll need to select your crust carefully as well.

Crusts at pizza hut can come as standard, rolled and filled with cheese, stuffed with cheese or covered in garlic. As an example of how the crust you pick can affect your pizza, look at the table below:

Pizza Crust Calories (per slice) Fat

Margherita

Standard Crust 274 9.8
Margherita Cheesy Bites 364 13.7
Margherita Stuffed Crust 338 11.8

So by selecting a standard crust over the cheesy bites crust you can save nearly 100 calories per slice!

So what about your toppings?

Well the pizzas with the lowest calories per slice are:

Farmhouse (Ham + Mushroom)
Chicken Supreme (Chicken + Mushroom + Peppers + Onion)
Vegetarian (Mixed Peppers + Onion)

Don't forget you can ask for half cheese too!

The salad bar
Pizza hut offer quite an impressive salad bar which is great if your kids / otherhalf want a pizza and you don't want that much.

With the salad bar you are free to pick what you want, so you can leave the dressings, potato salad and coleslaw off and only select the best options.

For drinks, opt for water, squash or a diet pepsi / pepsi max.
